Healthy Eating with Alisa Candice Stern

Eating right does not have to be boring anymore. As a competitive figure competitor I understand how important it is to eat clean organic foods on a daily basis. I have published recipes in my blog that are very tasty and diet friendly. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. I have just recently started my 2012 Figure competition diet. I am motivated to stay focused with my show preparation.

Some helpful tips include; cook a week's worth of meals at a time on the weekend that way you can just have your meals ready to go. I occasionally cook special items that make competition dieting fun. In my protein pancake and shake recipes I always add Nutrabolics Isolate Protein Powder. I love Vanilla and Chocolate flavours.

Nutrabolics Power Protein Pancakes

1/2 cup of egg whites 1 cup of whole oats 1 scoop of Nutrabolics Isobolic Vanilla Protein Powder 1/2 cup of frozen blueberries 1/2 a banana 1/2 cup of natural greek yogurt - put all ingredients into a blender and blend till fully blended - spray frying pan with pam - medium heat so pancakes don't burn - cook pancakes to your liking add some adams sugar free syrup to top off pancakes enjoy a tasty guilt free breakfast meal

• 1 Cup of Skim Milk or Water 
• 1/2 Cup of Blueberry Juice
• 1/2 Cup of Frozen Blueberries
• 1 scoop of Nutrabolics Vanilla Protein Powder
• Add in some ice
• Blend until smooth
• Enjoy your Fruity Fun Shake

Nutrabolics Mocha Madness Protein Shake
1 scoop of Nutrabolics Chocolate Isolate Protein Powder
1/2 cup of skim milk or waterand ice
1/2 cup of instant coffee
1 teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa powder/ or 1 teaspoon of Fitlicious chocolate powder
2 packets of splenda
blend all ingredients together till frothy and smooth

Alisa's Sweet Potato Fries Recipe

• 1-2 Sweet Potatoes thinly sliced spread on a cooking sheet
• Brush potatoes with olive oil
• Sprinkle your favourite Spice ie; Oregano Seasoning, Sea Salt
• Preheat Oven to 375F 
• Cook for 25 minutes until golden brown, flip over once
• Add salsa, if you want some heat or dip in the off season
